Wedding & Vow Renewal Details

  • Yes, if you're planning a legal wedding, you'll need to bring a valid marriage license from your home state or Maine on the day of your event. You can get one at any Maine town or city hall. For vow renewals, no license is required.

  • Our 3-hour wedding or vow renewal package includes:

    • Private cruise through Casco Bay for up to six (6) people

    • Onboard ceremony with a Notary

    • Gourmet cheeseboard keepsake

    • Wedding cupcakes for two

    • Champagne toast

    • BYOB and bring-your-own-snacks welcome

  • Absolutely! Registered Notary Wendy can guide a simple ceremony, or you can personalize your vows. If you'd like to bring your own officiant, just let us know in advance. The boat has a capacity of six (6) people, which includes the couple.

Cruise Logistics

  • All pickups and drop-offs take place at the Bug Light House Ramp in South Portland, Maine. You'll receive exact directions after booking.

  • Our vessel is rated for up to 6 total passengers, including the couple. This is required by Coast Guard regulations.

  • Yes, there is a marine restroom (head) onboard for guest use.

  • Yes! You’re welcome to bring your own snacks, meals, and beverages (including alcohol). We encourage you to make the day your own.

Weather & Cancellation

  • We closely monitor conditions and always prioritize safety. If it’s not safe to sail:

    • We’ll work to reschedule your cruise

    • Offer a dockside ceremony as a backup

    • In rare cases, we may cancel and provide a refund

  • We require 7 days’ notice for cancellations. Deposits are non-refundable but may be applied to a new date depending on availability. Cancellations within 48 hours may result in full payment being retained.

Scheduling and Timing

  • We only require 2 days’ notice, but earlier booking is encouraged—especially for sunset sails and weekend dates.

Payment & Checkout

  • All payments are processed securely online using PayPal Checkout.

  • Yes! Here’s how to check out as a guest:

    1. Click the “Checkout with PayPal” button

    2. Do not log in

    3. Click “Pay with Debit or Credit Card”

    4. Enter your email and payment details to finish checkout as a guest

  • Yes. We require full payment at the time of booking.
